Artisan Life Photography is looking for highly motivated, responsible, and talented individuals to join our fast paced, artistic photography team. Our road warrior, team of photographers travels the Mid-West, capturing great family portraits in our mobile studio. We partner with churches to help them create dramatic directories with high quality portraits being the focus of our work. You will have the opportunity to provide clients with a fantastic experience through a high level of personalized photography and portrait (no pressure) sales service. The portraits you capture will be treasured by our guests for a lifetime. You will play a critical role in a dynamic team environment helping churches and organizations accomplish their mission.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver an exceptional experience for each guest beginning with a friendly greeting, explanation of what they should expect and how the directory building process works.
• Gain an understanding of each guest’s portrait needs.
• Provide a creative photography session that delivers variety and choice of portraiture, exceeding guest expectations and create an opportunity to build product options.
• Share ideas in the viewing process that help the guest select images which meet their needs, including selecting an image to be featured in the directory.
• Build and price a collection (products, frames, finishes) for each guest.
• Complete required paperwork and processes timely and accurately to ensure each guests order is fulfilled.
• Arrive at the location of scheduled photography in a timely manner to prepare for the arrival of guests.
• Assist with set-up of photographic studio, calibration of equipment, marketing display set-up.

Job Requirements:

• Passion for photography
• Enthusiasm for exceeding guests’ expectations
• Ability to work well in a fast paced team environment
• Ability to work well without direct supervision
• Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
• High school education or equivalent
• Minimum 1-2 years sales and/or photography experience or training preferred
• Must possess basic math skills to be able to calculate pricing options and close out receipts
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be available and willing to work evenings and weekends (Friday & Saturday)
• Must be available for overnight travel
• Must be able to lift 55+ pounds, twice daily, with frequent sitting, standing and moderate physical activity
• High School diploma or equivalent

Compensation: Pays hourly of $10.00 per hour and up to $42,000 per year with commissions.
